Presentation:
SC NATURAL RESEARCH SRL CRAIOVA was established in 2001.
Research activity to produce natural food supplements and functional foods. Ecological animal diets and ecological fertilizers.
1. Research objectives:
1.1. Synthesis of biologically active boron compounds enhancing plant nutrition and protection
1.2. Synthesis of natural boron complexes used in animal therapy
1.3. Synthesis of nutritive supplements and production of functional foods
2. Achievements 2002-2004
2.1 Homologation and licensing of three liquid foliar fertilizers:
- Folibor "Calcium-Boron-fructose";
- Cupribor "Copper-Boron-sorbitol";
- Borcomplex, variable complex composition:
- "magnesium - Boron - fructose (sorbitol)"
- "potassium - Boron - fructose (sorbitol)"
- "iron - Boron - fructose (sorbitol)"
- "manganese - Boron - fructose (sorbitol)"
- "zinc - Boron - fructose (sorbitol)"
Folibor standard was homologated in Romania as fertilizer (license 264/30.07.2004) and is currently under licensing for use in the Danube Delta; it is also tested on various ecological plots (Ecoinspect SRL, Craiova).
Cupribor si Borcomplex are licensed temporarily (license 265/30.07.2004; 266/30.07.2004) and will receive final license next year.
2.2 Homologation of a feed additive, VETABOR (license 156693/26.09.2003), mineralizing animal metabolism and improving animal performance. Production of an energy-protein concentrate for pigs TOP SOY "PLUS" cod 002, (supplemented with Vetabor), improving pig performance and meat quality (lower cholesterol and higher essential amino acids levels)
VETABOR – is under licensing– Contract – BIOHELLAS Athenes, Greece.
2.3. PROLINBOR, energy-protein concentrate for layers is undergoing homologation. improves egg quality: it reduces the cholesterol level and increases 6 times the level of essential 3 omega amino acids (linolenic acids)
The production of several functional foods is under licensing. The foods are obtained from vegetal products and from animals kept on high boron diets.
